Welcome to the LFS Patriot Day 5K!

Little Flower School will be hosting the 9^th Annual LFS Patriot Day 5k on Saturday, September 7 2024. We are very excited about this community event and LFS fundraiser. At Little Flower School, our commitment to the growth of the whole child is achieved through a focus on core values: faith, knowledge and service. This event will complement our environment that encourages service to each other, our school, and especially to our community.

Each year, this event will be held on the Saturday preceding Patriot Day, September 11, to honor our local “patriots” to include military, firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical technicians. Participants in the 5K can run or walk, and children 10 & under are invited to participate in our 1-mile Kids’ Run on the school grounds.

In addition to the 5K and Kids’ Run, participants are invited to nominate their “Patriot of the Year,” who will be selected by our LFS middle school students and recognized at the opening ceremony. Ten percent of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the service organization of the selected Patriot of the Year’s choice.

Others are supporters of our patriots, from the athletic industry, and friends of LFS, and will be on site to cheer on participants as well. We look forward to seeing you on September 7th to either run or walk the 5K or to just to join the party as we remember, recognize, and honor our local patriots! Music, food, and displays from various community organizations will be at the event.
